About The Chef : William Tan William Tan is a noted professional chef for more than 20 years. He has a passionate interest in baking which was developed in his childhood days while helping out at his Dad's bakery. Chef William Tan was formally trained in Japan and Taiwan. He has worked in several countries including Japan, New Zealand, Australia and U. S. A. William has previously co-authored 2 cookery books "100 % Easy Home Baking I and II". He is a consultant for several bakeries and contributes regularly to Yum Yum magazine, a culinary publication. William is also the spokeperson for Kitchen Aid U. S. A., a leading brand for mixer. William currently conducts many baking classes. Being a passionate teacher, William derives great pleasure in sharing his experiences and love for baking with thousands of student across Malaysia.
