About the Chef: Leong Hsick Hui (Mrs.Yap) Madam Leong (Mrs. Yap) worked in the artwork and advertising industry, has completed her culinary skill in “Seni Masakan Institute (F & B)”and “ China Grain Products Research and Development Institute (Taiwan)”. She had won many prizes in numerous cooking competitions. For more than ten years, she has shown keen interest in vegetarian cooking. She has developed a variety of vegetarian recipes including desserts. Her active research has helped to build up her extensive experience in vegetarian cooking. She has always stress that vegetarian food should be easy to prepare so that any one can learn the skill. Mrs. Yap conducts vegetarian cooking lesson regularly in“Pusat Rukun Tetangga San Peng (C)”, Kuala Lumpur, she has taught more than 280 lessons to date, each lesson comprises of 3 recipes, a dish, a cake and a dessert. She also conducts classes in various bakery schools. Mrs. Yap also contributes recipes regularly to renowned bi-monthly publications, “Yum Yum Magazine” and “Famous Cuisine”. |
